Dear Valued Partners and Customers,

With the national lockdown period underway, and the expectation that this is likely to continue for the longer term, we wanted to update you of our operational capabilities during this time.

Absol realises that we are a critical part of your business, especially during these times, as we are all having to rely on communications more than ever.

As a registered Essential Services provider, we will continue to work to deliver seamless business continuity by striving to meet SLAs, performing remote maintenance and support services, managing logistic movements, supporting and maintaining our hosting and email services infrastructure, to continue with development support and projects and to be agile. All our product and services staff will continue to serve you through our normal electronic communication channels including email, WhatsApp, telephone, online meetings and mobile.

Sales

For Hardware, our sales team can quote, process purchases orders and manage backorders, where stock is available, and if you are an essential services provider, we will dispatch such stock. For Software and Virtual Items, our sales teams can quote, process purchases orders and dispense as per usual. For Development projects we expect to continue operations as normally as possible under the circumstances.

Continuity

We have taken the decision that we are not trying to figure out how to survive for just 3-5 weeks but have rather implemented procedures and invested in making sure that we can operate indefinitely during this period. This will enable us to continue to provide our services if the lockdown is extended.

Some of the items we have implemented to cope
  • All of our staff will be working from home.
  • Listed as an essential service provider.
  • Issued permits to staff that may need to move around.
  • Widely implemented the use of Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other related technologies in our own organisation as well as clients.
  • Enabled our VOIP services to reach all our staff remotely.
  • Implemented regular team sessions so that the entire company touches base with a manager / team leader at least once a day.

If there are specific requirements you have or would like further information on how technology can help your organisation cope during this period, please let us know.

During these trying times, scammers are taking advantage of fears surrounding the Coronavirus. Absol has compiled the following brief advisory which we invite you to review: Coronavirus COVID-19 Cyber Security Information

The safety and well-being of all our customers and staff is of paramount importance, and as such, we request that you reach out to us should any of your concerns not be addressed. It is in times like these that we need to stand together.

Thank you
Absol Internet Business Solutions
