Absol has been awarded the tender to develop the new SAQA website which was launched earlier this month. "The new site has a fresh and contemporary design. It is incredibly flexible and responsive to the needs of our stakeholders," says SAQA Acting CEO, Dr Julie Reddy.
After a lengthy adjudication process during 2019, that saw over 40 companies vying for the opportunity, Absol was declared the winner of the tender to; Design, develop and implement a new SAQA Website (including support, maintenance and hosting).
Absol created a cutting edge solution that fits all of the SAQA requirements, "Our intention with this new, fresh and modern website is to provide users with easy and quick access to information", says SAQA Director: Advocacy, Communications and Support, Mr Wellington Radu. It is a seamless, intuitive solution that integrates with the latest web technologies and functional innovation across all of the required platforms and browsers.
The result is a responsive website with a beautiful, engaging interface focusing on what the user needs as well as catering for specific business and marketing objectives.
In addition, a back-end is created with role-based user management access, control and management for levels of authority on available editing/access capabilities. The CMS (Content Management System) allows for full control of the entire system and site, enabling administrators to create valuable user content. The system offers functionality to update as well as add new pages and manage/create content pages with different layouts.
